Love 2 Stay

This remarkable campsite is sat on 22 acers with views of the Shropshire hills and the Welsh boarder. A short drive away from the medieval market town, Shrewsbury.

The site itself is a class above the rest, the quality of the facilities really is second to none. We stayed in a caravan with a really unique awning. It is permanently set up with a timber floor, dining table and large comfortable sofa. Added to the rear of the awning is a covered decking area with stunning views. This set up offers a little bit of luxury and comfort and certainly adds a lot more space to stay in.

The luxury continued with the shower block and toilet facilities, they are very modern and clean. Everything is operated by sensors, there’s plenty of room and even a baby bath for Parker.

We arrived about 5pm in the evening and had planned to have something to eat and a little walk to explore the site before bed. We walked down to the natural swimming pool the sun was still out and we had the place to ourselves. We made the most of it and had a great evening enjoying both the swimming pools and hot tubs.

The swimming pools are great for all ages there is a shallow warmer pool great for younger kids. It has a sitting area next to the pool and a sand play area.

The other pool is a natural swimming pool, it’s a lot colder but refreshing and very beautiful with lots of lilies. It feels amazing to take a dip in the cold pool and then warm up in the hot tub.

The modern feel continues around the pool area with stylish decking and sun loungers. The site has a lovely restaurant serving delicious fresh foods, drinks and sweet treats. We loved the pizzas and garlic flat breads, stone baked in the kitchen’s own pizza oven.

We really loved the swimming area and spent a lot of our time enjoying it, but this site really does have so much to do. There’s a huge adventure play area with a bare foot walk. A football pitch, archery and it even has its own lake. There’s lots of activities to get involved with around the lake from fishing to water sports.

One evening we hired one of the gas BBQ areas for a small fee and enjoyed a nice meal before sitting round the log burner as the sunset. Afterwards we watched a movie under the stars at the cinedrome. A large canvass tent with a big screen inside, it was a fantastic experience, the kids loved it.

In my opinion this is one of the best sites we’ve stayed at and is leading the way for UK caravan and camping holidays. The facilities are some of the best we’ve seen and there’s lots of bits that are unique to this site. The obvious attention to detain and thought that has gone into the design and facilities here has certainly paid off. Visit this place yourselves and see if you are as blown away as we were.
