Ribblesdale Park

Hot tub holiday destination, North of England located on the historic Gisburne Park Estate. Perfect for family or romantic getaways. near the Yorkshire Dales.

The Stables House

We spent a long weekend here to celebrate some family members birthdays. Despite the other lodges looking remarkable luxurious we opted to stay in the extra special ‘Stables house’ seen as though it was a special occasion and we were a large group.

The Stables house had the wow factor as we drove up the country road and entered the grand drive way through the gates past the large open fields full of sheep. The Stables house Is a great mix of modern and original features giving the place a very unique feel. It was built in the 1800’s but recently renovated in 2016 to an extremely high standard. It has six bedrooms sleeping up to 12 people. Check out our video LINK BELOW FOR MORE FOOTAGE OF THE INTERIOR…

You will be impressed with what the Stables house has to offer, open plan kitchen and dining area, large living area with pool table and bar. Log burner and exposed oak beams, surround sound downstairs and free wifi. You can see why this place is great for get togethers, perfect for group celebrations.

To top it all off there is a large private hot tub outside and a swimming pool a couple of minutes walk away.

The entire place was fantastic we didn’t find a fault with this special place. Plenty of luxury and comfort. Despite being a large group we didn’t have to compromise on anything there are plenty of bathroom/showers and toilets upstairs and down. A large utility with useful equipment. The entire place just flows very well, it has a great well thought layout. This made it easy to relax and switch into holiday mode straight from the start.

The accommodation wasn’t the only impressive part of our stay here. We were very close to the River Ribble, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. We enjoyed exploring the spectacular walks, if you’re lucky you might get to see some of the local wild life. Rare Sika deer, otters, kingfishers and peacocks to mention a few.

If you fancy some food and drink you don’t have to make yourself the Hindelinis café is a pleasant short walk away. They sell quality food and is good value. We enjoyed the sweet milkshakes.

We had such a great time enjoying the luxury Stables house and surrounding walks that we didn’t explore much more of the area, we would love to return some time and explore a little more, such a great place.
